Bunker Brews: Feeding the Experience Photo Re-cap

This event took place on July 12th and the discussion was focused on how the evolving desire for a stronger connection between products and services is impacting food production, delivery and experience.

This event was part of Grow North’s Thought Leaders in Food and Agriculture Series and sponsored by Land O’Lakes.

This event is in association with our monthly Bunker Brews – our monthly meet-up or happy hour where the Bunker Labs community — veterans, military spouses, and civilians alike can network with subject matter experts, investors, thought leaders, and more — creating a robust environment for growth and development.

Our guest speaker: Nick Taranto, Co-Founder of Plated and United States Marine Corps veteran. Founded in June 2012, Plated is on a mission to use data and technology to create a world where healthy, affordable and delicious food is available for everyone. Plated has raised over $75 million in venture capital and has shipped millions of meals across the U.S. Nick received his MPA and MBA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Business School and his B.A. from Dartmouth. He served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey. Nick is a husband, a co-founder, a father of two young daughters, and an Ironman triathlete.
